Need another reason to love e-conolight and its home state of Wisconsin? It is believed that Flag Day originated in Fredonia, WI in 1885, when schoolteacher BJ Cigrand held a celebration promoting the “birth” of the American Flag with his students.
In the years that followed, Cigrand continued to celebrate “Flag Birthday,” eventually petitioning that “Flag Day” be publicly observed. Sixty-four years later, it was named an official national holiday – one that e-conolight is proud to help you celebrate.
