Creative Electrician Puts Luxury Spin on Vapor Tight Light Fixture
A blurry photo and a little imagination can go a long way toward creating an industrial-style light for a luxury loft apartment.
Electrician Marco Desrochers in Providence, RI, was asked to recreate a light fixture for a tenant at Rising Sun Mills, a mixed use development of loft apartments, commercial and retail spaces.
“They took this photo in a restaurant of the light fixture made with Unistrut®, pipe and vapor tight light fixtures,” he said. “They wanted one so I made one it for their apartment.”
Desrochers used vapor tight light fixtures offered by e-conolight, a piece of Unistrut® and various sized wires and cables to create a mirror image of the restaurant fixture. He even spray-painted all the metal parts to blend in with the exposed metal duct work running the length of the unit.
The recreation of this fixture wasn't the first time Desrochers put his skill and creativity to work using products offered by e-conolight and probably won't be the last.
"The tenant and apartment management were really pleased with this fixture," he said. "E-conolight has a great selection of products that are versatile at good prices."
